nthony Carasa is a burlesque performer & instructor, graphic designer, actor, and audio/video editor; amongst many other things.

In the mid-1980s, I was born to two beautiful Cuban parents in Cocaine Cowboy occupied Miami, Florida. In the early '90s, I was introduced (through his work) to one of my biggest acting and comedic inspirations, Jim Carrey. He was this crazy, elastic-faced, funny guy who acted the way I felt. It was through him that I learned that it was alright to be crazy silly and still be charismatic at the same time. I moved to Chicago in the fall of 2005 to attend college to study theatre and I fell in love with the city; living there ever since.

Through the last six years I have worked on several student, independent, and major motion pictures as well as exploring other areas of artistic expression. I am a graphic designer and also an audio and video editor, but merely as a hobby.

I have also recently broken into the burlesque world as Tito Bonito, which I owe completely to Vaudezilla and Jeez Loueez (whom I started an internet webshow with called The 8th Degree). In the first year since Tito's debut, I have created nine acts (see: Resume), performed in two festivals, three cities (Chicago, Miami, & St. Louis), at my boylesque inspirations The Stage Door Johnnies show, at the Metro, and hosted Broadzilla on the anniversary of my debut in November 2011.

In September 2011, I began teaching boylesque classes at Vaudezilla Studios with a second term that began in January 2012. As of now, I will be hosting and headlining several shows in Chicago in 2012, as well as traveling again to Miami, St. Louis, Rochester (and more).
